Location: Myra Falls Mine, Strathcona Provincial Park, Vancouver Island
The Myra Falls Operation and MREPBC invite Campbell River, Comox and other Vancouver Island school teachers who are teaching about mineral resources, mining, geoscience or careers to learn about and experience mineral resource development through a one-day tour of the Myra Falls Mine in Strathcona Provincial Park. 

 

Registration details: This is a FREE field trip. However, there is a $25 refundable deposit required to hold your spot. Please go to http://www.bcminerals.ca/s/TeacherFieldTrips.asp register. Registration deadline is October 7, 2011 in order to assess if the trip will go ahead.
